I fell in love with printmaking after taking a beginning studio course while completing my BFA at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. In that course, I had the opportunity to explore woodcut, intaglio, etching, and aquatint printmaking techniques. I enjoyed the technical aspects, as well as the opportunity to combine my love of drawing, painting, and design. Two additional screenprinting studio courses left a noticeable impact on my creative style. And after college, while exploring printmaking techniques that do not require mechanical presses, I discovered hand-pressed linocuts and rediscovered my passion for the medium.
I now create hand-pressed linocut relief prints in my in-home studio near Bennet, Nebraska. I exhibit my work regularly in local and regional shows, and some of my artwork has even been honored with awards.
While I have some artwork available on Etsy and Redbubble, I have plenty that is not yet available on either site. However, I'm happy to arrange private sales of any of the artwork below. So, if you are interested in purchasing any of the artwork below, please contact me.
