STEMentors is a pilot program developed by Nebraska 4-H in partnership with Beyond School Bells and the University of Nebraska–Lincoln Computer Science and Engineering Ambassadors. The program aims to connect STEM-focus undergraduate students with afterschool programs across the state. During the semester-long pilot program, the computer science undergraduate students joined an afterschool program virtually and served as mentors to the youth participants. The mentors lead activities and guided the youth through STEM experiences via video conferencing.
